The world evolved
It began with small communities of outcasts using experimental gene therapies to become more than human, adorning themselves with feathers, scales, and fur. But as disease, natural disasters, and war plunged the world into a scramble for resources, evolution became a necessity. The new-human clans rose. Some favored power, fighting to survive with enhanced strength and flesh-rending claws. Others chose to adapt to isolated environments, the sunbaked deserts and deep forests where few others could endure.
And has grown
Traditional human society vanished, and soon the new human-clans were all that were left. Without the drain of humanity, ecosystems recovered, the forests regrew, and the new-humans thrived. The clans began to once again meet, trade, and celebrate their survival, appreciating the beauty in one another as they entered a new era of tranquil coexistence together.
